Tell us your priorities for Stockport for the chance to win a great prize

The Council has launched an online survey and is calling on you to have your say to help create a positive future for everyone.

Give us five minutes of your time to tell us your priorities for the future of Stockport and be entered into a free prize draw to win an iPad or a two month gym membership for two people, as well as one of six One Stockport tote bags. You can tell us your thoughts through our survey or by uploading a short video through our virtual video booth.

We’ve all been on a journey this year and our communities have pulled together as One Stockport to deal with everything 2020 has thrown at us. We’re still living with covid and all its challenges, but we also need to plan for the future.

With your help we want to build back better so we can support the local economy, connect communities and promote health and wellbeing.

It is important that we hear from as many people as possible to help shape future plans for the borough. Feedback from the survey will help inform the priorities and those of our partners for the next ten years, so input from local people is vital.

Councillor Tom McGee, Deputy Council Leader, said: “We want to ensure that Stockport continues to be a great place to live work and play and to build on all the great work we have seen, as we have navigated our way through such a challenging time.

“So this is a great opportunity to have your say on the future of the borough and we would like to hear what’s important to you. Please take just five minutes of your time, to help us to shape our priorities for the next ten years.”

Your input will contribute to a plan for the borough which will set out the priorities and ambitions for Stockport that you help to shape. This plan will inform the work of the council and other partners over the coming years. The plan will be developed and available on the council website in February 2021.
