Stockport’s Elf spreads festive cheer across the borough!
This December, Stockport has been graced with the presence of a playful and mischievous Elf who’s been spreading holiday cheer far and wide.

As part of a creative campaign by Stockport Council, the Elf has delighted residents with daily updates on its adventures, visiting iconic landmarks, community hotspots, and festive events across the borough.
From exploring the historic beauty of Bramall Hall during its Elf Trail to enjoying the twinkling lights of Merseyway, this little adventurer hasn’t wasted a moment. They’ve been to a panto, where they cheered louder than anyone (oh yes they did!), visited Santa, where we hear they cheekily tried to peek at the naughty and nice list, and even popped into the Mayor’s office. Word has it the Elf made itself quite at home, taking selfies in the Mayor’s chair and pretending to be in charge for the day!
The Elf also made sure to stay safe during their busy travels by getting the flu jab (even elves need to look after themselves!) and took the opportunity to sample some delicious food at Stockport’s many fantastic eateries, they certainly made the most of Stockport’s vibrant food scene!
Whether spreading joy, creating a little mischief, or showcasing Stockport’s incredible community spirit, this Elf has brought plenty of festive magic wherever they’ve gone.
The Elf’s escapades have been a huge hit with residents, with daily posts on the council’s social media pages encouraging locals to join in the fun by sharing their own festive photos and stories.
