Stockport Open Art Exhibition Winners 2018
The winners of the Stockport Open Art exhibition have been announced.

The exhibition held at Stockport War Memorial Art Gallery showcased art works from artists, digital designers, sculptors, photographers, textile artists from Stockport and across the North West.
355 pieces of artwork from 192 artists were submitted and 215 artworks were put to a public vote.
1599 votes were cast by visitors to the gallery between 21st July – 31st August 2018
The winners were as follows:
Michael Hartley – Rose Award Winner: Lily Shore with 'Bones and Veins'
Jackie Wagg Award - Winner: Ava Evans with 'Beautiful Bramhall'
People’s Choice Awards
Children’s Winner: Ruby Lee with Eat Your greens
Adult’s Winner: Chris Rowlands with Reflections
The Top 5 most popular artworks in Adult’s and Children’s categories received a certificate.
The Mayor of Stockport, Councillor Walter Brett who attended the award ceremony and presented the awards said:
“It was a delight to attend the awards ceremony and see the fantastic artworks that were submitted from emerging and established artists from Stockport and across the Northwest”.
