Stockport Ukrainian Club with support from Stockport Council, are inviting all those who wish to show unity with Ukraine to come together on Wednesday 29th June at St Peter's Square from 7pm – 8pm for a special event.
The event is set to send a unified message of support to all Ukrainian people as attendees join in a quiet and reflective space, followed by a celebration of Ukrainian culture through dance, music and song. St Peter’s Church will also be open for refreshments and to provide a quiet space for anyone wishing to light a candle.
If you know anyone who is interested in becoming a host for Ukrainian refugees, please do direct them to our Homes for Ukraine initiative.
