Statement: Stockport's Local Plan paused
A consultation on the Local Plan was due to begin at the end of September
Stockport Council is still working towards a local plan for the borough.
However, given the current uncertainties at national level and the pressures our residents and businesses are facing regarding the cost of living, we have decided that we will be postponing the planned consultation that was due to begin in late September.
We will review the process in due course.
