Rose Hill to reopen on Saturday, May 30 while changes at Bredbury means it will open seven days a week

Rose Hill tip to reopen as Recycle for Greater Manchester allow more items to be taken to recycling centres

From Saturday 30th May, you will be able to take the following items to the three recycling centres in Stockport:

• General waste (including small bulky items)
• Cardboard
• Garden waste (excluding soil)
• Wood and timber
• Scrap metal
• Rubble

Rose Hill Recycling Centre in Marple will open 9am to 6pm on Saturday 30th May only.

From Sunday 31st May, Rose Hill will open Monday to Sunday, 8am to 6pm.

Bredbury Parkway will also open 8am to 6pm, Monday to Sunday from Saturday 30th May.

Adswood opening times remain the same (Monday to Sunday, 8am to 6pm)

Social distancing will be in place at all sites in the borough.

Recycling Centre Rules
• Only 1 person allowed out of the vehicle
• Please keep 2 metres apart at all times.
• Cars and small vans only - No transit type vans and vehicles with trailers
• No pedestrian access
• SUEZ staff will not be able to help unload your vehicle
• Please take proof of address with you such as your council tax bill, gas or electric bill to show you live in one of the 9 councils in Greater Manchester. You can show your bill on your mobile phone.
• ANPR and CCTV are in operation, trade waste is not allowed.
• Please expect to queue for longer than usual due to social distancing restrictions in place. Please make sure you don’t block access for other road users
