Results day for college students across Stockport
Students from across Stockport are receiving their A-level and BTEC results today (17 August 2023).
Councillor Wendy Meikle, Cabinet Member for Children, Families and Education, said: "Congratulations to all Stockport students receiving their A-level and GCSE results over the next few weeks. You have all worked so hard and should be very proud of your achievements. For those students who didn't get the results you were hoping for, don't panic - there are many options and lots of support available in Stockport.
And I’m sure all parents, carers and teachers will join me in celebrating our young people and their achievements."
