Our condolences on the death of His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh
The Mayor of Stockport, Councillors and Officers are deeply saddened at the news of the death of His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
Our thoughts are with the Royal Family at this time.
A national e-book of condolence is available on the Royal website, and as a mark of respect the flag at Stockport Town Hall will be flown at half-mast.
If you wish to pay your respects please sign the book of condolence online and observe restrictions in place at this time by not meeting other households indoors, and sticking to the rule of 6 or 2 households when meeting outside. Please do not gather in crowds.
As an alternative to floral tributes, the Royal Family are encouraging donations to a charity of your choosing in honour of His Royal Highness.
