Phil Winrow, Vice Chair of NHS Stockport Clinical Commissioning Group, said: “Covid is still here and it’s important that those who are most vulnerable take the opportunity for a second booster. Remember it’s not too late to get a first, second or booster dose for anyone who hasn’t come forward yet. The pop up clinics make it easy to get to a venue that is convenient for you.”
Jennifer Connolly, Director of Public Health at Stockport Council, said: “Rates of Covid are still very high in Stockport. To protect yourself and your family, the best thing to do is to get a COVID-19 vaccination, especially the Spring Booster if you are over 75 or have a weakened immune system. There’s plenty of choice across the borough, as we have bookable appointments or walk-in pop ups in convenient locations across Stockport.”
