National Fitness Day - Wednesday 21st September
Fitness Unites Us –physical activity brings people together and positively impacts on our physical, mental, and social wellbeing. Stockport has lots of free activities for all.

Age UK Stockport is running a Brinnington walk at 10.30am. Starting from Hollow End Towers and finishing at Brinnington Park. This walk is an opportunity to get some gentle exercise whilst meeting new people.

Life Leisure will be running their usual SMILE sessions but with a twist. There will be a celebratory social session after the class at St James Church, Gatley, from 11-12pm. All past and present SMILE participants are welcome to attend. Also, drop in if you want to know more about this low-impact and gentle exercise concept developed by Life Leisure for older adults. The sessions are varied and designed to support those with long-term health conditions and/or disabilities to help improve physical health, mental health and wellbeing.

Stockport Health and Fitness are hosting a ladies' Open Day. You can try out two pieces of power-assisted equipment and enter a competition to win a one-month free membership. Terms and conditions apply. All entries will be given a gift of fitness, three free trials to be used on three consecutive days from 26 September 2022 to 23 October 2022. Everyone's a winner!
