Let’s Talk Business: Apprenticeships #TwitterTakeover

The Chartered Management Institute and British Chambers of Commerce released a new plan to support Apprenticeship reforms and make the Apprenticeship Levy work best for everyone.

Half of this plan is a call to Government to transform the skills landscape, listen to businesses, provide efficient accountability, measure impacts rather than targets and keep the process joined up, stable and consistent.

The other half details 5 ways employers can transform Apprenticeships – all of which, Stockport Council are proud to say, we have already embraced:

  1. Get Involved, Get Informed and Tackle Your Skills Needs
  2. Find Flexible Ways to Manage Training
  3. Commit to Long-Term Skills Investments
  4. Embrace Wider Workforce Planning
  5. Measure the Benefits

To find out how you can also create an award-winning apprenticeship programme, head to the Apprenticeships Store Twitter and Facebook pages from Monday 25th – Friday 29th June for key information, top tips and success stories.
