Help Stockport restaurants be crowned winners in the CityLife awards
Two Stockport restaurants - Where The Light Gets In and The Allotment Vegan - are celebrating after being named in the CityLife Awards Best Restaurant shortlist.
The nominations are a fantastic achievement for both local restaurants whose first class food and amazing service have made their mark on the region’s food scene since opening.
Celebrating the best in food, drink and entertainment across Greater Manchester, the CityLife Awards are one of Manchester’s most sought after culinary awards. This year, two of the five best restaurant nominations are for Stockport restaurants cementing the town’s position as a growing food and drink destination.
Voting is now open and and residents are being encouraged to get involved to help us see their favourite Stockport restaurant crowned winners. You have until Wednesday 24th January 2018 to cast your vote online.
The Stockport businesses in the shortlist are:
• Where The Light Gets In, Stockport – Best Restaurant

Councillor Kate Butler, Cabinet Member for Economy and Regeneration at Stockport Council said: “It’s great to see Stockport’s food and drink offer once again being celebrated and I’d urge everyone to use their vote to help see their favourite Stockport business crowned winner.
“Stockport’s food and drink offer is going from strength to strength with even more new opening planned over the coming months. I’d like to wish each of the shortlisted companies every success both in the awards.”
