Have your say on the review of Stockport polling districts and polling stations
Stockport Council is reviewing its current voting arrangements and the places where electors cast their vote.
The Council wants to hear the views of residents, local political parties and councillors and other interested people on any aspect of the current boundaries of polling districts or the building in which they cast their vote.
The consultation period for the review is from Monday 1 October to Friday 9 November.
The Returning Officer will publish representations on proposed polling districts and polling places by 19 November and the period for representations on these proposals will end on 13 December.
The review won’t make changes to ward boundaries which are a matter for the Local Government Boundary Commission.
Information on the current polling districts and polling stations can be found on the Council website or from the Electoral Services section, Stockport Council, Room 132, Town Hall, Stockport SK1 3XE, or phone 0161 217 6026.
Representations should be sent in writing to the Returning Officer, Stockport Council, Town Hall, Stockport SK1 3XE, or by email to email@example.com
