Have your say on the Greater Manchester Spatial Framework draft
Stockport residents are being asked to have their say on the proposals of the Greater Manchester Spatial Framework (GMSF).
The consultation started on Monday 31st October and will run up to 23rd December 2016.
The GMSF is an ambitious plan to establish homes, jobs and green space across Greater Manchester over the next 20 years, along with identifying the new infrastructure (such as transport links and utility networks) required to achieve this.
Residents will have the opportunity to engage with Council staff at drop-in sessions just before their Area Committees next week, where we will talk about the GMSF proposals and what they mean for Stockport. Find your nearest drop-in session:
Bramhall & Cheadle Hulme South: 5.30pm on Thursday 10th November at the Bramhall Village Club, Melbourne Road, SK7 1LR.
Central Stockport: 5pm on Thursday 10th November at the Committee Room 2 - Town Hall, Edward Street, SK1 3XE.
Cheadle: 5pm on Tuesday 8th November at The Kingsway School, Foxland Road, SK8 4GX.
Heatons & Reddish: 5pm on Monday 7th November at the Sir A. Brumwell Thomas Meeting Room, Ground Floor, Town Hall, Edward Street, SK1 3XE.
Marple: 5pm on Wednesday 9th November at the Marple Senior Citizen's Hall, SK6 6BA.
