Get your nominations in for Stars of Stockport's Care Sector

Relatives, patients and care workers are being called on to nominate their Stars of Stockport’s Care sector.

Nominations are being invited in 10 different categories for the annual Stockport Star Awards.

The Stockport Star awards, and are now in their 3rd year and were launched by Stockport Together as a way of recognising the good practice in the borough’s care home and home care sector.

Councillor Wendy Wild, Deputy Leader of Stockport Council and Cabinet Member for Adult Social Care said: “I’m so proud of the hard working people in the care sector who look after our most vulnerable residents. The dedicated staff who work in this sector make a huge difference to the lives of the people they care for. This vital work often goes unnoticed so these awards are a small way of acknowledging the fantastic work they do. Please get in your nominations by November 16th.”
