Flooding update
The latest information and advice on disruptions caused by the recent flooding.
Road updates
The A555 in Stockport is now open. There will be a lane closure and a 40mph speed limit in place on the westbound section from the Oil Terminal Roundabout at Bramhall to the A34 junction at Handforth Dean so our engineers can continue to access the pumping stations on that stretch.
For road closures in surrounding areas of the borough, visit the Derbyshire Police road updates page.
Flood grant
A flood grant is available for Stockport properties that were flooded between 28 July and 9 August 2019.
