For many young people, results day marks the start of an exciting new chapter, whether that's moving on to sixth form, college, university, employment, an apprenticeship or other training opportunities.
While results day is often a chance to celebrate achievements, it can also bring questions or uncertainty. We are reminding young people and their families that support and advice is available to help them explore their options and plan their next steps.

"Congratulations to all Stockport students receiving their exam results this year. You have shown real hard work, resilience and determination, and you should be proud of all that you have achieved.
"For anyone who didn’t receive the results they were hoping for, please remember there are many different opportunities ahead and plenty of support available to help you take your next steps.
"Let’s recognise and celebrate the achievements, effort and potential of our remarkable young people."
