Do you have a great idea that will help your community?
Apply to Stockport Local Fund by Sunday 1st December.
Do you have an idea that will help reduce loneliness, improve physical or mental wellbeing, make people feel safer or bring different people together? This is just the sort of idea we will be looking for when making Stockport Local Fund awards.
Laureen Donnan, Deputy Chief Executive at Stockport Council says: “We are putting the people of Stockport at the heart of what we do. We want to give our communities a stronger voice in the future of their local areas, so we are supporting the local projects that our residents care about. Stockport Local Fund is investing in the ideas that residents feel will help make their neighbourhoods even better places to live in. How could you make your mark in Stockport?”
Everyone can apply to the Stockport Local Fund for up to £10,000. The online application process is quick and easy, but if you’ve never done anything like this before, why not ask for help from others in your community? Use the Stockport Local online directory to connect you with other local groups and services. You don't have to be a formal group or organisation - we encourage applications from people or groups that have come together just to work on an idea.
If you want to be involved in making your neighbourhood a better place to live in, don’t forget to submit your application by midnight Sunday 1st December 2019. Find out more and apply on our web pages.
