Mortgage payment holiday

If you're a homeowner and you're struggling to pay your mortgage due to coronavirus, you can extend your mortgage payment holiday for a further 3 months, or start making reduced payments.

The 3 month mortgage holiday was announced in March as part of a package of support for individuals, businesses and the economy.

Your lender should contact you to find out if you can start making your mortgage payments again. If you're still struggling and need help, you can extend your mortgage payment holiday for 3 months.

If you're struggling and you have not had a mortgage payment holiday, you can apply until 31 October 2020.
