October 2025 update

The Marple Clinic will have a new temporary home in the New Year as the next stage of the Marple Hub project gets underway.

The clinic, which provides NHS services to the Marple community, will be relocated as part of the wider Marple Hub development, which is being supported by a £20 million grant from the Capital Levelling Up Fund.

During the next phase of the build, the current Marple Clinic will close, and its healthcare services will be provided in a purpose-built temporary unit in the Brabyns Brow Upper Middlers car park, behind the Purple Pakora.

Once the Marple Hub is complete, the clinic will then operate from within the new hub, which will also house a library, swimming pool, café, and a modern fitness suite, bringing together health and community services in one location.

The hub will open in autumn 2026.
