January 2026 update
Works have been progressing on Marple Hub over the last couple of months:
- the roof is being installed along with the insulation and top grey sheets
- metal framing to the external wall has started to the west side of the building
- construction of the ground floor slabs has begun in the café and community space
- the pool base concrete slab has been poured
Looking ahead, works that will take place include:
- continuing with roofing, including insulation to the central section and top sheets
- external wall metal framing and weather boarding on the west and south elevations
- completing the ground floor slabs to the changing village
- completing the pool tank walls and forming the pool surround
- beginning the internal blockwork to the plant areas and changing village
Marple Clinic will be moving to Brabyns Brow (Upper) Middlers car park in January 2026.
The hub will open in autumn 2026.
