Applying for a registration
All lotteries which do not constitute gaming are illegal.
Exceptions to this are small, private and local lotteries. In order for them to obtain the benefit of exemption, they must be registered with the council, under the Gambling Act 2005 legislation.

A statutory fee of £40 is payable on registration. The annual fee for renewal is £20.
