Look after your health and wellbeing
Last updated 24 June 2020
The government have advised us to maintain social distancing to help reduce the spread of coronavirus.
Our normal routines and habits have been temporarily disrupted as a result.
During this difficult and worrying time, create a new routine that builds in time and activities you enjoy so that you care for your physical and mental health.
Whether you're self-isolating, following social distancing advice, or working from home, simple actions can help you maintain good health:
- help reduce your risk of getting coronavirus
- emotional wellbeing and mental health
- stay active
- healthy eating and drinking
- support to stop smoking
- living with a long term health condition
Watch this short video from Jennifer Connolly, Director of Public Health for Stockport. She talks about coronavirus and the things you can do to look after your health and wellbeing.
