About Pride in Place

Brinnington has been awarded £20 million of long‑term investment through the national Pride in Place programme; a once‑in‑a‑generation opportunity to transform the neighbourhood, champion local strengths and make sure decisions are led by residents rather than made for them.

The Pride in Place board will bring together a diverse group of people to:

  • represent and listen to local communities
  • work with partners to shape priorities
  • support open and transparent decision making
  • champion positive change in Brinnington

The Pride in Place Community Conversations Fund provides small grants of £100 to £500 to support local organisations in Brinnington to deliver community activities.
