Joining is easy and free. No proof of name and address is required. You also don’t have to live in Stockport. You can use your library card at any library in Stockport.
Children and young people of all ages can have their own library card.
If you live in Stockport and cannot visit a library or you're a full time carer, you can use our free Home Library Service (HLS).
