When you arrive

If you're arriving here under the Homes for Ukraine scheme, you must tell us when you arrive. Email us at migrantcommunities@stockport.gov.uk.

We have a team of welcome link workers. Someone from the team will call when you arrive, and then visit you and your host at your property. The visit is to make sure that you are safe and well and we'll help you to access any urgent support you might need.

We'll continue to visit you throughout your stay.

If you're arriving under the Homes for Ukraine scheme, the government has produced fact sheets in English, Russian and Ukrainian:

You can also read the government's guide to services you may need in your first week in the UK.
