Ways to pay your Council Tax
By Direct Debit
Direct Debit is the easiest way to pay. It's simple, quick and safe and you do not need to remember to pay. You can spread your payments over the year with a choice of 3 payment dates on the 1st, 15th or 25th of the month.
You can also use the form to:
- tell us about a change to the Bank or Building Society account that you want to make payments from

You must continue to pay your Council Tax bill while you're waiting for any changes to be made. When your request has been agreed, we'll send you a new Council Tax bill confirming your Direct Debit payments.

Over 12 months
If you receive your annual bill in March, you can request to pay Council Tax over 12 monthly instalments. We'll send you a new bill showing your new payments and when they're due.
Note: if you receive your bill at any other time of the year, the number of instalments will be less than 12.
