Planning permission costs
You can find out the costs of applying for planning permission by using the Planning Portal fee calculator.
Administration fees
The fee for a withdrawn application is £40. We'll deduct this from any refund.
The fee for a Decision Notice is £35. This will take 10 days.
Searches
Standard searches cost £60 per search. The 48 hour express service costs £75 per search.
Photocopies
For up to 10 photocopies, the fee is £6.50 plus:
- 20p per A4 sheet
- 40p per A3 sheet
- £1.05 per A2 sheet
- £1.65 per A1 sheet
- £2.40 per A0 sheet
The fee will be different for extensive searches or when you request more than 10 copies.
Postage is not included in the cost of photocopying.
Redaction and copies of responses
The fee is £19 for up to 10:
- redacted copies
- copies of responses
