Preventing Homelessness Strategy
To sit alongside our housing strategy, a preventing homelessness strategy has been developed. This strategy is organised around the following key priorities:
- improving access to affordable accommodation
- the prevention and relief of homelessness
- improving the health of people who are homeless
- addressing multiple and complex needs
- tackling rough sleeping
The strategy is being overseen by a multi-agency steering group and is accompanied by a 3-year action plan that's updated regularly.
