Housing Delivery Test - Action Plan
Last updated 19 January 2021
In February 2020, the government released the latest 'Housing Delivery Test' figures for all local authorities in England. The test is an assessment of whether planning authorities are overseeing development of enough homes for their area.
In Stockport only 74% of the new homes needed have been built. That's 2,127 out of 2,856. This result means that we need to write an 'Action Plan' to show what we’re going to do to increase the number of new homes built across Stockport.
