1. Events and filming

Stockport parks have plenty of choice when choosing where to hold your outdoor green space event or a filming location.

Our parks and open spaces have been host to a wide variety of events from circuses to running events.

There are many things that you may need to consider when planning an event in a park. For example, applying for permission, obtaining appropriate licenses, health and safety precautions etc.

You can find your activity costs by viewing the greenspace event fees and charges 2018-19 (PDF 20.38Kb). If payment is applicable, it must be made 10 days before your event takes place.

A site meeting is recommended prior to submitting your application as explained in the application process.

Please note: It can take up to 3 months for an application to be processed by all parties involved. Please make sure that you apply in plenty of time.
