1. Events and filming

Stockport parks have plenty of choice when choosing where to hold your outdoor green space event or a filming location.

Our parks and open spaces have been host to a wide variety of events from circuses to running events.

There are many things that you may need to consider when planning an event in a park. For example, applying for permission, obtaining appropriate licenses, health and safety precautions etc.

You can find your activity costs by viewing the greenspace events fees and charges document (PDF 256Kb). If payment is applicable, it must be made 10 days before your event takes place

A site meeting is recommended prior to submitting your application as explained in the application process.

Please note: It can take up to 3 months for an application to be processed by all parties involved. Please make sure that you apply in plenty of time.
