1. About the (HIP)
The Highways Investment Programme will carry out a range of repairs from patching to resurfacing in targeted areas. It's aimed at providing a long term solution to the deterioration on the highway network. The work will result in an improved highway network for all local residents and road users.
The programme started in April 2014 and will continue over a 9 year delivery period.
The work is being carried out by the following specialist contractors who are Alliance Partners with Stockport Council - Colas, Galliford Try, George Cox & Sons, Tarmac, J Cooney and Totally Local company.
