When to contact the police
You should report any crime to the police, particularly if someone has:
- used violence against you
- threatened you
- intimidated or harassed you
- caused damage to your property
To report a hate crime, contact the police by calling 101.
In an emergency, call 999.

Report to Stop Hate UK
Stop Hate UK is a national organisation providing confidential support and reporting services for people experiencing hate crime or discrimination. They offer a 24-hour helpline and support throughout the reporting process. They can also help you access additional local support services.

Report to True Vision
True Vision is a police-supported website where you can report hate crime. You can report anonymously if you prefer not to share your details.
Report to Tell MAMA
Tell MAMA (Measuring Anti-Muslim Attacks) provides a secure reporting service for incidents of anti-Muslim abuse.
You can report incidents online or by phone, email, text or social media. A trained caseworker will then contact you for more details and offer appropriate support.
Report to the Community Security Trust
If you experience or witness antisemitic behaviour, you can report it to the Community Security Trust (CST).
Antisemitic incidents include actions directed at Jewish individuals, organisations or property where there is evidence of hostility towards Jewish people.
CST offers specialist support and can work with the police and other agencies while maintaining confidentiality.
