Hallam Coronation Garden opened in 1902. It retains much of its original character, with its traditional gates, formal layout and ornamental planting.
Hallam Coronation Gardens is a small, yet well loved, park. It is maintained regularly by a Community Parks Officer and apprentice gardener.
Access to all parts of the park is excellent as a Disability Discrimination Audit identified potentially hazardous pathways.
The park is considered to be a valuable asset to the local community. It has a children's play area, seating, grassed areas for events and shrub beds.
It is well used by many local people for recreation and play. Facilities within this small (0.43 hectare) park include children’s play area, seating, grassed area for events and varied shrub beds.
