Guide to taxi test due dates

This is a generic guide to help you calculate the due dates and plan for your vehicle tests throughout the course of your licence

It's based on the date of the initial licence and the expiry date of your licence

You can find your licence expiry date on your paper licence and plates

You must make sure your vehicle has passed the test in advance of these dates but no more than 4 weeks before the due date

This guide does not take into account weekends or bank holidays so please make sure your vehicle has passed the test in advance of the dates shown, particularly if the due date falls on a weekend or bank holiday

It's your responsibility to make sure the vehicle has passed the test in advance of the 6 month test due date and 12 month renewal test due date. Failure to do so will result in the suspension or expiry of your licence
