What we do
We're an independent volunteer led charity providing practical and emotional support if:
- you're blind
- you're visually impaired
- you're deaf
- you're hard of hearing
- you have dual sensory loss
Our services include:
- a not-for-profit recourse centre demonstrating, and selling, assistive equipment for people with sensory loss
- free specialist sight loss counselling
- a drop in hearing aid clinic
- social and activity groups including:
- craft
- tea dance
- handbell ringing
- computer club
- braille classes
- social groups
All information is available in accessible formats.
Volunteering opportunities
We rely on our volunteers to staff the help desk and resource centre, help with classes and fundraising.
