What we do

We are a group of young people who aim to represent the voice of young people in Stockport by working with local schools, youth groups and forums, alongside Stockport Council to make sure that young people and their views are heard.

We aim to provide a strong platform for young people in Stockport to have a say on youth related issues.

We meet once a week on a Wednesday from 5:30pm to 7pm.

We also organise events that are open to representatives from all secondary schools, colleges, sixth forms and youth groups for young people aged 11-21 (or up to 25 with a disability/additional need).

Members take part in activities that scrutinise the work of Stockport Council and they also have opportunities to take part in regional and national events, such as the National Youth Parliament.
