What we do
Stockport Triage Assessment and Referral Team (START) offer advice and referrals for a range of lifestyle areas.
We can offer you free, confidential and local support if you live, work or are registered with a GP in Stockport.
We can help you make changes in many different areas, whether you want to:
- stop smoking
- eat a healthy diet
- get more active
- be a healthy weight
- reduce the amount of alcohol you drink
- stop taking drugs
- feel more confident about making changes
When you contact us, youll speak to one of our team members who'll have a chat with you to see which services are best to support you with your goals to become healthier.
We can offer:
- telephone support
- 1-1 appointments
- group sessions
