What we do
We're a local voluntary organisation providing support to adults in the Stockport area who experience mental health problems.
We offer a wide variety of social, leisure, therapeutic and educational activities that take place both in the centre itself and at outside venues. Our programs target 5 key ways to wellbeing:
Keeping our 5 main goals in mind, we created the following services for our members:
- art groups
- social groups
- relaxation and wellbeing
- IT courses
- football group
- women's group
- day trippers group
The centre was set up as a registered charity in 1985. We employ around 20 staff as well as a larger number of volunteers who constitute an important element of the service we provide.
