Stockport Horticultural Society

What we do

Founded in 1888 our members share a love of gardens and plants encompassing all levels of knowledge and expertise. Our meetings and events are always well attended due to the variety of topics and interesting speakers as well as the warm and friendly atmosphere.

Our monthly meetings and annual show, along with our day trips provide a full diary of events.

The AGM is always well attended. It shows members what the committee does to provide a lively, interesting society and allows members to offer ideas on our future.

If you just want to come to our meetings, enjoy the talk and refreshments and then go home, that's fine. If you want to become more involved, great. Membership is only £10 per year. Non members can attend our meetings as a guest at a cost of £1.50.
