What we do
We're a UK charity that exists to give women the confidence they need to reach their full potential, secure employment and change the course of their lives.
We have centres in Stockport and in Manchester city centre.
Were proud to support unemployed women from across all Greater Manchester boroughs and the wider North West from a range of different backgrounds and age groups, aged 16 and above. Our services enable women to feel more confident and start believing in their own ability to succeed.
Our free services include pre-employment career coaching session for unemployed women who are looking for work.
For unemployed women with a confirmed job interview, our interview styling and coaching session provides high-quality interview-appropriate clothing, shoes and accessories (theirs to keep) to wear for their job interview and a 1:2:1 personalised interview preparation coaching session.
On the news that you're successful at interview, you'll be invited back to receive additional items of clothing, all free and to keep, to build up a capsule wardrobe.
The time our clients spend with us can be transformative. We give women the confidence, the self-belief and the practical tools they require to succeed in securing a job and start a new chapter in their life.
We're a small but passionate team and were supported by a brilliant team of skilled volunteers who help deliver the service through both in-person and remote appointments.
All appointments are made by referral, from another organisation or charity who is supporting a women on her on the journey to employment. This could be for example a work coach, training provider, social worker, community hub and colleges (and many more).
Bookings are taken online, via email, or over the phone, and only takes a couple of minutes.
