Grove Badminton Club

What we do

Grove Badminton Club (GBC) is a community social badminton club for enthusiasts of the game.

We play to enjoy ourselves and to keep fit; our motto is: "For your health's sake, play a sport, play badminton!"

Grove Badminton Club was formed in 2022 by a small group of lovers of the game; since then, our club has become one of the most popular, and sought after badminton clubs in the area, to the extend that we now have a waiting list in operation.

We also enjoy a social get-together from time to time. GBC welcomes players of all abilities, so long as you can play badminton. We do not, therefore, admit beginners and learners. We invite experienced players, men and women, to come and try us out for a few weeks, and after that, we review the situation.

We admit players from aged 17 & over. We play very competitively, though not in any organised tournaments and competitions. GBC is not affiliated to any professional body, and don't own anything-buildings, site, venues, etc, we simply hire our play centres at some costs to us two nights in the week.

Please note: we do not allow/admit unannounced attendance, without first making enquiries, with your full name and playing experience...that's why we have a waiting list of people wishing to join us! We strictly enforce this rule. All enquiries are dealt with promptly; spaces are limited, so please enquire sooner rather than later. Thank you.
