What we do
The Stockport Garrick Theatre is the oldest 'little theatre' in the country and has staged plays continuously since it was formed in 1901, even during both World Wars.
Members pay an annual membership fee to be a part of the company providing high quality drama. The Garrick is proud of its reputation for achieving a professional standard of production.
'The Garrick' has an outstanding reputation for consistently putting on a range of productions that rival many professional companies. We are able to do this because of the wide array of talents, skills and interests possessed by those who make up our working membership.
As you can imagine, 'the Garrick' provides many opportunities for people to apply existing skills, interest and talents and to develop many others. Theres always someone to help - and theres always a need for your help.
