What we do
As part of a well-established national charity we've been providing support and inspiration to people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and sensory impairments since 1996.
We work every day to transform the lives of people aged 18 and over with disabilities.
Our recently upgraded resource base in Sale is a hive of creativity and inspiration. We have a beautiful, bright and modern space, set over 2 floors with fantastic accessibility, including a lift. The big art room, well-equipped computer suite, fantastic sensory room, large fully fitted kitchen, and social areas, are all proving very popular.
We run a 7 days per week service. Our resource base opens Monday to Friday from 9am to 4:30pm. We also have a Saturday morning cookery club from 10:30am to 12:30pm. In addition we also offer Personal Assistant support during the day, at evenings and weekends.
We provide all kinds of social, educational and leisure activities for people with disabilities to get involved in:
- art groups
- IT and computer sessions
- cookery skills classes
- communication groups
- music
- photography
- day trips out
- museum visits
- swimming
- shopping trips
- gym sessions
- pub visits
- cinema
- cafe trips
There's so much going on.
We also support people to get to other community events like art and drama classes or to sports events, and can provide travel training to support people to learn how to use buses and trams independently.
Our experienced and fully trained staff will help you reach your goals, be as physically active as possible and increase your independence.
