Tandem Support

What we do

The Tandem support service is a service that supports people at home with shopping, companionship, getting out in their community to social groups, appointments or local parks, garden centre or cafes.

We're part of Age UK Stockport which is a local registered charity (Charity Number: 1139547).

Our care workers can assist with a range of activities including:

• personal practical tasks at home
• shopping
• domestic support
• companionship
• leisure activities
• supporting with hospital and other appointments

We support people with complex conditions:

• dementia
• Parkinsons
• stroke
• palliative care

All our workers are employed locally and undergo a comprehensive recruitment and selection process. We provide on-going support and training to make sure we continue to deliver a friendly, flexible service that meets peoples needs.
