Work has commenced on assessing the full range of comments received on the Local Plan Issues Paper, which will be used to help develop the preferred policy direction. It's intended that information on the nature of those comments received will be available in spring 2018. A more detailed document relating to the response to the Issues Paper will be published later in the year. Comments which have been submitted formally through the consultation process can be viewed on our Consultation Portal.

Sites that have been submitted through the Local Plan Call for Sites exercise will be assessed as part of the work being undertaken to inform the next stage of the Stockport Local Plan. It's anticipated that this work will commence in March 2018. The information relating to the site assessments will be published as part of the next stage of consultation later in 2018. If you wish to add information in relation to a site which you have already submitted please send it to local.plan@stockport.gov.uk and clearly indicate the address of the relevant site.

The next stage will be called Preferred Options and will be open to public consultation.
