4. Food safety management systems

All food businesses are legally required to have a written food safety management system in place to ensure the food they produce is safe to eat.

The Food Standards Agency developed the Safer Food Better Business (SFBB) food safety management system to assist small food businesses in complying with food hygiene regulations.
