Most schools in Stockport have a geographical area around them called the catchment area. Every address in Stockport falls within the catchment area of one primary and one secondary school. The catchment area that you live in will determine your catchment school.
Your catchment school might not always be the nearest school to your address, but it will be in your locality. If you live near to another borough, your closest school might be in that area and you should contact that council’s school admissions team for more information.
