Description

As part of Stockport Central Library's half term activities, Siemens are hosting a fun STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) drop-in session.

The theme of this session is "Living in a world by STEM" and will feature 3 main activities:

  • the Driverless Car Challenge where you can learn to code using BBC Micro:Bit to program a self-driving vehicle
  • play the Energy Island interactive game where the goal is to generate maximum power output whilst minimising cost and pollution. Players with the highest score wins
  • learn about the UN Sustainable development through a snakes and ladders inspired boardgame

We'll also have Colby the Code and Go mouse and Coderpillars and other activities for younger children to learn about coding.

Come along for a fun afternoon of activities for all the family.

We'll also have free giveaways on the day.
