Gardening session at The Landing

The Landing is a community growing space, based on the roof car park at the Merseyway Shopping Centre. It was designed and built by Where The Light Gets In and Manchester Urban Diggers, and provides produce for the restaurant as well as the local community.

Volunteer sessions take place every Friday, where you can learn the basics of organic growing principles and get involved in tending the garden. It is an oasis for re-connecting with nature, learning, growing and socialising in an unexpected space!

Friday sessions are free, and all volunteers also get a free lunch cooked by the chef at Where The Light Gets In.
